How to Prepare for the Homecoming Dance (for Freshmen)

Hello! There are lots of freshmen out there who are super excited (or not) for their first high school dance. This can be your guide to being the most prepared girl on the dance floor. When you go dress shopping, make sure to find a high low homecoming dresses that's as comfortable as is fashionable. Typically, underclassmen wear short dresses and the upperclassmen wear long robes, however, this rule changes from school to school so make sure to ask someone homecoming-savvy.
 

 Homecoming is all about the sparkle! When selecting a dress color, think about things like your personality, eye color, and favorite color. This helps when there are lots of options. Also, be sure you keep price in mind and grow tired of sales! Try to find a pair of comfortable shoes. If they are not comfortable, try to make them comfortable by adding cushion stickers to the parts of your shoes where you will get a tender spot. You can purchase these stickers at shoe stores. Many people wear heels to homecoming. If you are not used to wearing them, practice by travelling in advance. If you are a naturally tall person and are embarrassed about it, don't be afraid to wear flip flops or apartments!
